At 3738 metres above sea level, the Weißkugel is the second highest mountain in the Ötztal Alps and offers a breathtaking 360° view of the Eastern Alps thanks to its central location. The ascent from the well-maintained Schöne Aussicht mountain hut is not particularly technically demanding, but the descent to Schnals requires a good level of fitness and stamina.
