Ski touring week in the Passeier Valley
Limitless deep snow
Our ski touring week takes place in the beautiful Passeier Valley, which is one of the most snow-reliable areas in South Tyrol. The valley offers tours of every difficulty and length - it can be described as a true winter wonderland. Over the course of the week, we will explore two areas in the Passeier Valley. The first is the Timmels area near the border with Austria in the southern Stubai Alps. The choice of tours is seemingly limitless, from north-facing slopes with powder to south-facing slopes with the best firn, everything is available. The newly built Gasthof Schönau will spoil us with typical local specialities for the first three days. After the adventurous ski tours, we can recharge our batteries for the next day in the spacious wellness area. The perfect location of our accommodation allows us to go on tours in two different side valleys.
Starting from the Timmelsbrücke bridge:
- Timmelsjoch 2,474m
- Heachnberg 2,631m
- Schwarzseespitze 2,988m
- Gürtelspitze 2,743m
Starting from the Schneebergerbrücke bridge:
- Schneeberghütte - Kaindljoch 2,700m
- Zermaidjoch 2,619m
- Hohe Kreuzspitze 2,743m
The second stage takes us to the sunny village of Stuls, which is also a perfect starting point for numerous ski tours. We will make ourselves comfortable at the Hotel Kronhof. Combined with short car journeys (max. 30 min.), there are many opportunities for wonderful tours, also in the Ötztal Alps:

- Lake Ehrensee 2,300m
- Spronserjoch 2,581m
- Alpenspitze 2,477m
Various shorter ski tours are available as an alternative in case of bad weather. Afterwards there is the possibility to visit the first brewery hotel in South Tyrol.
Program:
| Day 1
| We meet on Sunday at the Gasthof Schönau in the Passeier Valley, where we have a first opportunity to get to know each other. |
Day 2 & 3 Day 4 | From Monday to Wednesday we will undertake various ski tours in the Timmels area. On Wednesday afternoon we will move to our new accommodation (Hotel Kronhof) in Stuls. |
Day 5 & 6 Day 7 | From Thursday to Saturday we will set off on various ski tours in the Ötztal Alps. On Saturday our ski touring week comes to an end - we make our journey back home. |
