Ski mountaineering tour in the Thien Shan Mountains with a traditional 4-day yurt camp and 2 different ski touring areas
The Thien Shan Mountains extend from Uzbekistan over 2000 km to western China with mountain peaks ranging from 3000 m to the famous 7000 metre peaks of Pik Pobjeda and Khan Tengri.
Our ski tour takes us to the areas around Lake Issy-Kul and the area around Karakol. Depending on the region, we start from traditional yurts or lodgings for ski tours at altitudes of up to almost 4000 metres. Our tour is accompanied by a local team and a local guide. Well-known ski tour destinations in the various areas are Djety-Oguz Peak (3,640 m), Tiurgen Peak (3,928 m) or Jergalan Peak (3,718 m) with a maximum ascent of 1,300 metres. With one or more ascents, we will find the right mix for everyone! Kyrgyzstan impresses with its fascinating landscape and, above all, its great hospitality and friendliness.
