Panorama tent camp

Experience the Villanderer Alm and its unique natural landscape up close!

Our panoramic tent camp takes place at the Seeberg lake on the Villanderer alpine plateu. For three days and two nights we will enjoy the wonderful views over South Tyrol's peaks. We will experience the unique landscape up close for three days. Leisurely hikes, great views, adventure and fun are at the centre of this tour.

In the course of the camp we will hike via the Totenkirchl, a high-altitude pilgrimage site, and the Totensee lake to the Villanderer Berg (2,509m).

Program:

Day 1

The plateau below the Seeberg is the destination of today's hike. We start at the Gasserhütte at the foot of the Villanderer Alm and hike via the Hochalm up to the Totenkirchl (2186m). Once there, we have almost reached our destination - we enjoy the view of the Schwarz- and Seeberg lakes from above. We continue downhill until we arrive in the midst of the lake landscape, where we set up our tent camp for the next two nights. We end the evening in a cosy atmosphere and admire the spectacular view.

During the ascent, we climb approx. 570 metres in altitude.

Day 2

On the second day, we hike up to the Totenkirchl and on to the Totensee. The path leads us over the hills above the lake and further over the mountain ridge to today's destination, the Villanderer Berg. After the effort, we are rewarded with a unique 360° view of the South Tyrolean mountains. We descend via the same route back to our tent camp, where we will spend our second night in the open air.

Day 3

On the third day, we dismantle our tents in the morning. We then hike at a leisurely pace downhill via the Hochalm and the Stöfflhütte to the Gasserhütte - the end point of our tent camp.

We look back on three days full of adventure and fun.
